What we collect
When you use our sign-up form we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), parish, and your choices about joining our WhatsApp group and being contacted about volunteering. We also store the date you signed up and whether you confirmed your email.
Why we use it (and our legal basis)
We use this information solely to keep you informed about the Italian Apostolate — news, events, the Mass schedule — and, if you opt in, to add you to our WhatsApp group. We rely on your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming your email; you may withdraw it at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your details are stored on our own server. We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the site (for example, to send confirmation email and, optionally, an anti-spam check); they process data only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you remain on our list. You can ask us to remove it at any time and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, to stop contacting you, or to provide a copy of your data. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise any of these, email info@apostolato.org. You can also unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
Where your information is processed
Your information is stored on servers operated on our behalf and may be processed in the United States or other countries, depending on where our hosting is located at the time. Wherever it is processed, we handle it only with your consent and for the purposes described above, and we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.
Children
This site is intended for adults; please do not sign up if you are under 18.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, administrator access is password-protected, and we store only what we need. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change.
